Top Mathletics Class

 Congratulations to all the hardworking 'Maths Whizz Kids' in Te Puawai! We have won the Top Mathletics Class two weeks in a row. Well done Te Puawai!

  

Mathletics

 Woohoo! Te Puawai were Top Class of the week for Mathletics this week! To achieve this we had to work hard to gain new gold bars by doing Mathletics activities as a class. We worked together showing our school value of Porihanga or Community and Partnerships. 

 

Measurement

Our math's strand for this term is Measurement. Today we got to 'tutu' with some of the measurement tools and measure the playground. We measured the height, width and length of different parts of the playground.

 

Teina's Times tables:

WALT: We are learning to quickly recall our basic facts.

Teina has been working hard to learn his times tables and quickly recall them to help him calculate maths problems.
